AEC performed Environmental Due Diligence for the refinance of the 23-story, Central National Bank building located in Richmond’s Grace Street Commercial Historic District.  The structure is one of only two skyscrapers in Richmond to have used the Art Deco ziggurat-inspired setback.  This National Register-listed historic building was recently renovated into 200 apartment homes, comprising approximately 220,000 square feet.   AEC performed our assessment in accordance with ASTM standards and the specific needs of the client.
